JBC Electronic Time System ("ETS") Terms
& Conditions for Temporary and Freelance Employees
Terms & Conditions for ACS Temporary and Freelance Employees
i) It is understood and
agreed that Jonathan Beth Consultants NY LLC (hereinafter referred
to as "JBC") temporary employees assigned to the American Cancer Society
("ACS") are selected under criteria and a selection process specific
to ACS. JBC does not have any involvement or discretion in the ACS
hiring process of temporary workers and JBC was not involved in the
selection process including but not limited to the search process,
the selection process and all of the criteria utilized in such said
selection process as well as during the background screening process.
ii) Furthermore, you represent and agree that you, as a temporary
employee assigned to ACS and selected based solely upon their internal
criteria agree to indemnify and hold harmless JBC from and against
any and all liabilities, fines, damages, fees and expenses arising
out of ACS's failure to comply with applicable employment law or any
unlawful action taken by ACS or its invitees against you. iii) You
understand and agree that you were selected as a temporary employee
to ACS solely by ACS and without connection to Jonathan Beth Consultants
NY LLC, its officers, directors, employees and the like. iv) In the
event that ACS determines it to be in their best interests to terminate
its relationship with you, you further agree to indemnify and hold
harmless JBC from and against any and all liabilities, fines, damages,
fees and expenses arising out of this decision. v) JBC temporary employees
are absolutely prohibited on assignment from: 1) operating any motorized
vehicle; 2) operating any machinery (other than standard clerical
office equipment); 3) lifting or otherwise moving any heavy objects;
and 4) handling any securities, cash or other valuables without the
prior written consent of JBC. |
